back to story

Life is different for me now that I am "all grown up." I am happy, outgoing and I live to have Fun! I am always in awe watching the famiIies we photograph at sessions and weddings - and I learned from photography what a real family is like - a family that loves. When I see the dad's tears when he sees his daughter in her wedding dress, it's like a eureka moment for me - oooh that's what normal is like. So, I have reshaped my life and have learned from all of my clients what real love and happiness is and I make it a point to live my life to the fullest everyday.

I didn't have a good childhood at home. I didn't grow up in a functional family and I grew up poor. I had a hard life, hard enough to not post about the bad parts on my happy place here.

I remember I got my first new shirt from the Mall when I started going to South Highlands in jr high because I went to school with all rich kids. I had to wear "hand me downs" from my cousins who where all about 3 inches taller than I was (I shop at Platos Closet now, so I guess it's the same thing, but I get to pick what I want and they fit lol.) I really believe this is why I like the few nice things I really do have - and I appreciate and am thankful for what I do have. I didn't let that stop me from being me. It's not about what you have or don't have. I learned over the years that if I can't afford something and I really want it, I just worked extra jobs and hours to get the things I really wanted in life.

You can do anything you want to do in life - just believe in yourself, and work hard and envision it - own it.
